An internal garden is situated within the main house, which is divided into 13 quarters or rooms, including the Oratorio or Chapel, Main Room, and the Alcove.
Adjacent to the villa is a botanical garden, which houses many interesting plant species belonging to tropical dry forests. A statue of Simón Bolívar by sculptor Pedro Montarsolo stands at the center of the garden.
Today the Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino stands as a museum and hosts many temporary exhibitions. Also, its garden was turned into a botanical garden.
