Saxony-Anhalt is situated on the northern part of Germany. It doesn’t have
many castles but many of the historical buildings located here are having Danish
influences.
Some of the most interesting castles and palaces in Schleswig-Holstein are
the Glücksburg Castle or the Gottorf Castle.
The Liubice, for example did not survive, but it once was a big fortified
settlement in the town of Lübeck.
