North Rhine-Westphalia is the most populous state in Germany, and it is home
to many castles.
The Altena Castle was built in the early 12th century, making it one of the
oldest castles in the region.
Godesburg Castle near Bonn is currently in a bad shape but it is nonetheless
a beautiful castle. Moyland Castle is another interesting neo-gothic castle located here, and
it is fully restored.
