The state of Lower Saxony is located in North-West Germany, and it
completely surrounds the state of Bremen. It is the second biggest state in Germany, judging by
its size.
One of the most important castles in Lower Saxony is a late gothic building,
the Marienburg Castle in Hannover. The Celle Castle is another important landmark of Lower
Saxony. Then, here you can find the Imperial Palace of Glosar too.
